Brooklyn Dodgers

Brooklyn Dodgers hand painted baseball series.

Scroll down to see the baseballs.

Ah, the Brooklyn Dodgers. Is their any other major league baseball team as as much history? Maybe the New York Yankees. Maybe.

From 1913 until 1957, "Dem Bums" played at Ebbets Field in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York.

They were the first club to have a black man on their roster, when Jackie Robinson joined the team in 1947.

From 1947 to 1957 the Brooklyn Dodgers were in the World Series six times against their cross town rivals the New York Yankees. There only World Series win was in 1955.

After the 1957 season the un-thinkable happened. The Dodgers moved to Los Angeles, California. No more Brooklyn Dodgers.

It was never the same. Most of the players were the same but the mistique was gone.

I've tried to re-create those glory days from the golden age of baseball with this series.

There will be more Brooklyn Dodgers hand painted baseballs coming soon. Including Carl Furillo, Sandy Amoros, Johnny Podres and more.

If you are a Brooklyn fan, and who isn't, contact me and I'll paint any Brooklyn player you want.

I have already had a great response to these baseballs.
